These photos were taken at the Beta Bar in Tallahassee, Florida. It’s a highly unremarkable venue located near All Saints Cafe, where Tom Gabel of Against Me! was arrested yesterday for bashing in two people’s heads after ordering tea. Of course, nobody I know got pics of that hilarity. Bummer.
John Stanier is a complete manimal live. I know that’s about as obvious as saying the Bible is bullshit, but it needs to be said.
My sources cannot confirm this, but Battles seems to lug around a tour rug with two panthers caught in hang-time.
Tallahassee’s rock crowds are amongst the few still not acquainted with amateur photo-taking. Battles was great, but the band should look into small scale pyrotechnics. The music starts to feel very isolated after 30 minutes. This photo was taken 20 minutes in, if that says anything.
People weren’t very stoked on the merch table. Battles should sell 3-minute speaking seshes with their fans. Those seemed big.
Energy drinks should be banned at rock shows. Did you ever look at them after a long night of Pabst consumption and get a pinch on your liver?
Why do people jock Against Me! It’s a 400 pound punk ass bitch playing emo mall punk. Tallahassee got served, big surprise there.
